Missouri Bar Association. Zvibleman spoke on The Effective Use of Depositions;

Case. The Family Law Conference was
attended by over 350 attorneys and judges from throughout the State of
Missouri.

Allison was recently published in the Journal of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML). The issue focused on multiculturalism issues in Family Law. Her article, Living Happily Ever After in a Land of Separate Church and State: Treatment of Islamic Marital Contracts, discusses issues in culture and religion involved in the legal process when an Islamic couple divorces. We're so proud of Allison for being published in such a prominent publication! (Journal of the AAML, Vol. 26, No. 1, 2013.)

Alan Zvibleman, Ann Bauer, and Cynthia Albin are pleased to announce the formation of their new firm, The Center for Family Law. The new firm opened in October 2013, and Alan moved in on January 1, 2014. The Center is devoted exclusively to family law matters, including divorce, child custody, adoption, and family matters. These often involve high-asset and complex divorce matters. The attorneys offer their services in traditional litigation as well as mediation and collaborative practice.

Ann Bauer received the Roger P. Krumm Family Law Award at the conference held by the Family Law Section of the Missouri Bar earlier in August. This award is given annually by the Missouri Bar to honor a family law lawyer who has demonstrated an exceptional degree of competence, skill, integrity, commitment, and dedication toward the improvement and advancement of the practice of family law and the children and families involved in family law matters. Presenting the award was Reuben Shelton, Vice-President of the Missouri Bar.
